Sergiy Bychkov leads an active public work. He is a member of High School Rectors’ Council of Dnipropetrovsk region, Chairman of the Sailing Federation of Dnipropetrovsk region, Chairman of the Supervisory Council of charitable fund "Dukhovne vidrodzhennia" ("Spiritual Renaissance").

About charitable organization "Spiritual Renaissance"

"Spiritual revival" is a non-governmental charitable organization. It was established in October 2000 with the aim of realization of tasks of the program "Spiritual Renaissance" which had been worked out in 1997.

The Head of the Supervising Council of the Organization is Sergiy Bychkov, the author of the program "Spiritual Renaissance", presently a member of the Parliament of Ukraine, Vice-Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament.

The main objectives and directions of the organization’s current activity are:

• Attracting public interest to the problems of spiritual values’ revival in the society;
• Development of scientific, technical, industrial potential of the population, encouraging creation of professional organizations with this purpose;
• Social protection and health care for the population at risk;
• Assistance to the pensioners and disabled people;
• Initiatives to reduce unemployment;
• Organization of spare time for youth, encouraging education, science, culture and sport development;
• Participation in regional programs supporting development of education, science, culture and art;
• Co-operation with governmental and non-governmental organizations and enterprises.
